Mexico High School wrestlers opened this winter’s dual meet schedule with a victory over NCMC rival Marshall back in December. They hadn’t claimed another dual since until Tuesday’s 51-24 domination of NCMC host Boonville.
Bulldog coach Nick Hoth filed the following report this morning.
“Last night we took on our rival Boonville Pirates. Overall it was a very good night for the Bulldog wrestlers; we won the dual 51-24.
“It was a whole team effort.  Everyone wrestled well last night. It seems like we might be starting to click at the right time of year. Our next match will be Thursday night at home against Hickman.”
Mexico’s dual record is 2-3, both conference and overall.
