Several Mexico youth competed in the recent Junior Olympics Regional Competition in Des Peres and all received first-place medals. They include:
Basketball: Baylee Alarcon, girls 8-9 year old division ; Rachel Owings, girls 10-11 year old division.
Tennis: Steven Owings, boys 8-9 year old division; Baylee Alarcon, girls 8-9 year old division; and Rachel Owings, girls 10-11 year old division.
Soccer: Steven Owings, 8-9 year old division.
Track and Field: Jaden Little, boys 8-9 year old division; and Rachel Owings, girls 10-11 year old division.
