North Callaway picks up wins at Bowling Green; Van-Far, CR-6, MMA compete

At the Bowling Green Mini-Medal Meet on Friday, Isiah Craighead won the boys javelin for North Callaway with a throw of 50.74 meters and Pressley Schmauch was first in the girls 1,600-meter-run for North Callaway with a time of 5:55.18 and won the 3,200-meter-run with a time of 12:48.82. Also for North Callaway, Kymorie Myers was second in  the girls discus and the boys 4x400 relay team finished second.

Malik Douglas finished second in the boys long jump for Van-Far, Evan Utterback was second in the boys shot put, Garrett Hopke was second the boys 1600, McKenna Engh-Hoffman was third in the girls 100-meter hurdles and Trinity Skwirtz was third in the girls 800-meter run.

Aaron Elford finished second for Missouri Military Academy in the boys 110-meter hurdles, Kyran Carter was second in the 200-meter dash, Ryan Miles finished second in  the 3200 and the 4x200 relay team was second.

Kat Meyer was fifth in the girls 400-meter dash, Chloe Johnson was seventh in the girls javelin and Nicholas Henke finished seventh for in the boys 800.

Missouri Military Academy finished third out 10 schools in the boys standings with 110 points, North Callaway was fifth with 64, Van-Far was sixth with 53 and Community R-6 was ninth with five. North Callaway finished fourth out of nine schools in the girls standings with 93 points, Van-Far was eighth with 25 and Community R-6 was ninth with nine.
