Would you like to see a variety of equipment using precision technology, methods of using the data, or see it at work in the field? There will be a Precision Ag Farm Tour the Mexico area. The tour will be on Tuesday, Sept. 7 beginning at 5 p.m.
The tour will have three stops: Isgrig Farm, Wilson Farm and, Boyes Brothers farm. Each stop will include comments from the farmers about their equipment and technology and if weather and field conditions allow, we will see equipment run at one site.  There will be a wide variety of equipment and the folks on the farms have much experience they are willing to share with those on the tour. Kent Shannon, MU Extension Ag Engineer will share information gained from research on some of these sites too.
The tour begins at 5 p.m. at the Isgrig Farm south of Mexico. For directions download the map from the University Extension website  http://extension.missouri.edu/audrain or call the Audrain Extension Center at (573) 581-3231. There is no charge to attend the tour, but we request a phone call to pre-register to plan for the meal.
Please call the Audrain Extension Center 581-3231.
This event is open to all interested persons. The tour is being sponsored by the Audrain Extension Council, University of Missouri Extension and Mexico MFA.
For more information call the Extension Center at (573) 581- 3231.
