Ethel Ruth Lincoln, 72, of Mexico died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico.
Ruth was born on September 28, 1940 in Middletown, the daughter of Ralph and Ethel (Garrett) Hudson.
She worked for 25 years as a Pharmacy Technician, with most of her career being spent at the Drive-In Pharmacy in Mexico. She was very proud of both of her grandsons, Andrew who is attending UMKC Pharmacy School and Ryan who she followed through his many sporting events and Ochestra concerts in Centralia.
She loved garage sales and auctions, scouting for antiques and collectables. She was an avid collector of Fire King Dishes, Elvis memorabilia, head cases and anything containing Cardinal birds.
On July 28, 1961 she married Wesley Lincoln, in Laddonia, who preceded her in death on April 10, 2012. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July of 2011. She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Ethel Hudson of Mexico; a daughter, Sandy Albus and husband Bill of Mexico, son Mike Lincoln and wife Deanna of Centralia; two grandsons, Andrew Lincoln of Kansas City, KS, Ryan Lincoln of Centralia; four brothers, Jack(Lura) Hudson, Tom (Cheryl) Hudson, Russel(Teresa) Hudson, Gary Hudson all of Mexico; two sisters, Patty (Paul-Deceased) Early of Mexico, and Barb (Wendell) Stieferman of Lohman, MO.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in care of Arnold Funeral Home 425 S. Jefferson Mexico, MO 65265.
