Mike Fuller, General Manager of Consolidated Electric Cooperative, Mexico, has accepted the position of CEO with Pee Dee Electric Cooperative based in Darlington, South Carolina, according to a press release from CEC. Pee Dee Electric Cooperative has more than 30,000 services in place serving residents, businesses and industries, and 2,800-plus miles of line in Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Lee, and Marion counties. Fuller will begin his new position at Pee Dee Electric Cooperative on November 13.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Consolidated Electric Cooperative and have made many friends among the employees, directors and members of the cooperative,” Fuller said. “It’s with a heavy heart that I make this move. However, I am looking forward to working with a new group of people at Pee Dee Electric. I have heard nothing but good things about this cooperative.”

Dale Hopke, CEC Board President said, “The board of Consolidated Electric has enjoyed working with Mike. While we are sorry to see him go, we recognize what a huge opportunity this is for him and have every confidence in his future success. We are very happy for him and wish him and his family the best.”

Fuller has served 24 years in the rural electric program. He joined the staff of Consolidated Electric Cooperative 20 years ago as its director of member services. In March 2006, he was named general manager. Prior to that, he was the electrification adviser for Carroll Electric Cooperative based in Berryville, Arkansas.

During his time with Missouri’s electric cooperatives, he has served in many leadership positions. He is a graduate of Columbia College with a degree in business administration. He also received an MBA degree from William Woods University. Fuller and his wife, Marla, have two children, Brett and Ashley.
