Roger L. Mohs, 60 of Centralia died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Fenton Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Centralia City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Roger was born on October 24, 1956 in Morton, Kansas the son of Edward Junior and Loa Lee (Walsh) Mohs.
Roger worked for Pan Handle Eastern Pipeline both in Kansas and Missouri.
Roger married Judy Sampson in 1990 and she survives of the home.
Along with Judy, Roger is survived by sons, Raymond Palmer and wife Melissa of Centralia, Rusty Palmer and wife Michelle of Columbia; grandchildren, Roston and Rylee Palmer; his father, Junior Mohs of Jarrell, TX; sister, Lea Ann Mohs of Jarrell, TX; brother, Mark Mohs and wife Marilyn of Katy, TX; sister, Dianna Noblitt and husband Gordy of Wichita, KS; several brothers and sisters-in-laws; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Roger was a champion trap shooter, traveling across the country to attend competitions. Roger participated in the National Finals in Vandalia, Ohio with the Kansas State Junior Team as a teenager. He won many awards during his time trap shooting. He loved his Wednesday Texas Hold ‘em card nights, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Roger really enjoyed fishing and golfing, and watching Centralia Panther football, he was always the life of the party.
