Coyotes playing in league event

The Paris varsity baseball team is scheduled to begin the Lewis and Clark County Tournament on Saturday, weather permitting. The squad then travels to Madison on Monday prior to concluding its league tourney on April 20.

 

Calling all Wildcats

The annual spring interest meeting for students interested in playing football at the middle school or high school level in Montgomery County will be April 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school gym.

 

Panthers get the job done

At home on Tuesday the Centralia varsity baseball, 4-1 overall, team earned a 4-1 home non-league victory over Macon, 4-3 overall.

The Panthers next play at Sturgeon in non-conference competition on Tuesday.

 

Go big or go home

In Eastern Missouri Conference action on Tuesday the Montgomery County varsity baseball team soundly defeated Bowling Green 7-0 according to MSHSAA.org.

The Wildcats, 7-2 overall, are at Wright City on Friday and on Saturday the squad is at Palmyra with Moberly.

 

Reviving a tradition

The Missouri Military Academy is once again playing varsity baseball for the first time in quite some time and according to the Missouri State High School Activities Association on Tuesday the team faced Monroe City and was defeated 18-0 at home.

The Fighting Colonels are now 1-3 overall.
