According to the Centralia Panthers Baseball Facebook Page the varsity defeated Monroe City 8-0 at home on Tuesday to raise its Clarence Cannon Conference record to 4-0.

Taking charge and setting the pace for the squad in this contest with four hits and four runs was Jared Holiman, who was backed up by multi-hit performances from Will Rolfson and Caden VanSkike. Gus Stidam and VanSkike also came through with two RBI each and VanSkike reached base during all four of his at-bats.

On the mound for Centralia combining for the shutout included Jackson Wells, Ben Schmidt and Holiman. The Panthers host California over the weekend for a non-league game.
