Having posted a score of 112, the the Lady Panthers varsity girls track team placed second at Class 4, District 4, last Saturday hosted by Centralia to advance to sectionals next weekend at Montgomery County.

With the top four squads moving on it was the Lady Wildcats that grabbed the top spot with 126 points and coming in third was Blair Oaks at 94.

COACHES COMMENTS:

"The girl throwers are sitting very strong at sectionals. Carter Hawkins looks to be a two time state pole vault qualifier going into sectionals," said coach Jim Newsted. "Carter Simkins is in her fourth year of Hurdling at sectionals, and the like the boys the girls relays continue to improve and are peaking at the right time going into sectionals. All in all it was a great day to be a Panther at the District track meet."
