While this event was still wide open at the end of day one, now that the Missouri State High School Activities Association two-day Class 1 varsity golf championship is over at the par-72 Sedalia Country Club, Van-Far is still sitting pretty in the third position, only now it has a score of, 337-355-692.

Taking first was Bishop LeBlond at 316-315-631, Westran was second with 333-343-676 and Iberia was fourth by carding a 361-360-721. Next up was Mid-Buchanan at 367-365-734, St. Vincent was sixth with a 368-366-734 and Bloomfield posted a 383-395-778. That just left Windsor with a mark of 391-392-783.

The individual results featured some names you'd expect and some you wouldn't as Miller's Presten Richardson medaled for this event by coming in at 72-70-142 followed by Bishop LeBlond's Jeffrey Michael Johnston and Henry Andrew Lierz in a tie for second at 148. Lincoln's Bo Kroenke was just one stroke behind with a 73-76-149, making Kanon Kendrick fifth by virtue of putting up a 77-74-151 and Jesse Burton of Westran was sixth after laying down a 70-82-152.

Owen D'Amour of Thomas Jefferson Independent also slid into the seventh spot by shooting a 156, deadlocking for the eighth slot at 75-82-157 and 82-75-157 were Van-Far's Rylee Hansen and Iberia's Cody Limbach, respectively.

Paris had three individuals competing, as well.
