Adrianne Nichole Lutz-Jones of Centralia, Mo. passed away at Lake Ozark Regional Hospital on November 1st, 2018. She was 31-years-old.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8th at 1:00 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico. Visitation is Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Adrianne was born in Moberly, Mo on January 3rd, 1987 to Jeffrey Kyle Lutz and Rita Jeannette Grooms-Lutz. On November 14, 2010, she married Joe Eugene Jones. They have one daughter, Addison Marie Jones, age 7, who survives.

Adrianne attended Centralia schools and graduated from Columbia College with an Associate’s degree in general education. Adrianne had a passion for helping people with mental illnesses. She worked at Fulton State Hospital as a Forensic Rehab Specialist in the Biggs Building where she developed a life-long passion for helping people with mental illnesses. Additionally, she worked for the State of Missouri Medicaid system. Adrianne was drawn to those in need. She would go above and beyond to help people. She was a giving and selfless person.

She lived life adventurously and loved to travel. She loved the beaches and water where she took countless randomly unplanned road trips. She and her friends would take spur of the moment shopping trips. They would go on late night couponing trips. She was the only person we knew that could go into Walgreens or Walmart and come out with $100 worth of products only having paid $5 for all of it. She loved her friends dearly.

Adrianne’s biggest love in life was her daughter, Addison. She loved her daughter with all of her heart. She was her world, the sparkle in her eye, the sunrise in the mornings, and the rainbow in the sky. They would cuddle for hours. They were silly together and laughed so hard together. Addison loved shopping as much as her mommy. Adrianne loved her little family and their little home that she and Joe built together.

She loved her brothers dearly. Adam was her warden and advisor, but Adrianne was Kyle’s rock. She loved her nieces and nephews, Emma and Karter. Emma was her sidekick and Karter was her aggravator, arguing with her until he had the last word. Anyone who knows Karter would totally understand this.

Adrianne’s last wishes on this earth was to continue helping people through organ donation. It was her last wish that I as her mother could make sure was fulfilled. Her last wish saved the lives of many people, allowing them to live on, follow their dreams, see the sunset, walk on the beach, and watch their children and grandchildren grow into adults. I only pray that someday they know how beautiful our little Angel was and how important it was to her that she help people. Handing Adrianne over to God was the hardest thing we as parents have ever had to do, but she now flies with her own wings with God and his Angels. She is a Saint.

Adrianne is survived by her husband, Joe Eugene Jones, her daughter, Addison Marie Jones, her parents Jeff and Rita Lutz, her father-in-law Jody Jones (Grey), her mother-in-law Phyllis McCollum (Mark), her grandmother Vivian Grooms, her brothers Adam Lutz (Sara) and Kyle Lutz, her brother-in-law Clinton Jones (Cassie), brother-in-law Logan Jones, her sister-in-law Camille Fuemmeler (Brandon), her nieces Emma, Darcy, and Ellie, her nephew Karter, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandfather Russell Grooms, her Grandfather Howard Lutz, Grandmother Mary Lutz, and her special cousin Derrick Wheeler who Addison thinks was with them everywhere she and her mother went.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arnold Funeral Home at 425 South Jefferson Street, Mexico, Mo. 65265 to help defer funeral costs. Remaining funds will be used to establish a trust for Addison Marie Jones.
