Ronald Eugene Macher, 75, Clark, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Harrisburg Christian Church in Harrisburg. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. John Gillman officiating. Father Mike Quinn will also speak at the service.

He was born April 21, 1943, in St. Louis, a son of the late Raymond Leo and Dorothy (Kadlec) Macher. He was a 1960 graduate of St Thomas Aquinas High School, and went on to earn his Bachelor degree in Animal Husbandry from University of Missouri. On August 29, 1964, Ron was united in marriage to Joanne Queensen, who survives at the home.

Ron was proud to be a farmer and also published Small Farm Today Magazine. Ron enjoyed reading, gardening, farming and being with his family.

Along with his wife Joanne of 54 years, Ron is also survived by daughter Jean (Jesse) Macher-Japko; son Jeff.

Ron we are proud of you. You have lived your passion, and have contributed to so many. You are missed. Love Joanne, Jean, and Jeff.
