Jordan Eddie Belcher, 16, of Mexico, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his home.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation is Thursday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jordan was born on August 8, 2002 in Mexico, the youngest of five children to Eddie Ray and Barbara Lorraine (Bishop) Belcher.
Jordan enjoyed school and attended the Delmar Cobble State School in Columbia. His world was everything “Sponge Bob” and loved him very much. Other great joys in Jordan’s life included bowling, swimming, and spending time with his personal aide, Elizabeth Knipp. He also loved his family, especially the times he was around his niece and nephews.
Survivors include his parents, Eddie and Barbara Belcher of Mexico; four siblings, Nicholas Belcher, Matthew Belcher, Heather Belcher, and Christopher Belcher, all of Mexico; two nephews, Bennett Belcher of Farber and Kasen Rudd of Mexico; one niece, Brooklynne Belcher of Mexico; his grandparents, Don and Joann Bishop of Mexico and Gary Belcher of Thompson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Judy Belcher.
Jordan lived with Autism and his quality of life was blessed by the help of many organizations.
