Phyllis May Frisbie Griffin, 78, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her home.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Phyllis was born on April 15, 1941 in Mexico, the daughter of John Birt and Elender Maude (Buchanan) Frisbie. She married Edward Schulte and they had three sons together.

Phyllis obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Missouri Baptist in St. Louis. She became a Registered Nurse and worked at Audrain Medical Center for over 40 years.

She loved gardening very much and had beautiful flower gardens. Some of her other enjoyments included crafting, antiquing, going to auctions, reading the bible, and family get-togethers.

Survivors include three sons, Jim Schulte of Centralia, Steve Schulte of Mexico, and Terry Schulte of Mexico; one step-son, Brent Griffin of Mexico; four grandchildren, Erica Schulte of Columbia, Aysha Schulte of Columbia, Haley (Trevor) Judkins of Columbia, and Rainie Schulte of Des Moines, Iowa; one great-grandchild, Kaden Fugate of Columbia; five step-grandchildren; one brother, Rogers (Cindy) Frisbie of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Wally Frisbie.
