Arleen C. Long, 74, Sturgeon died Sunday Jan. 29, 2023.
She is survived by her son Herbert Long and his wife Tabitha of Sturgeon; three brothers, Norman Lute of Madison, Irvin Lute of Higbee and Nathan Lute of Madison; five sisters Dorothy Gibson of Hayes, Kan., Janis Bentch of Elsberry, Ardeth Baker of Madison, Elaine Smith of Higbee, and Sharon Strohm of Kansas City; six grandchildren, three great- grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, two sons Corey Long and Dennis Wolverton, three brothers Melvin Lute, David Lute and Rodney Lute preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia.
