The Mexico Bulldogs unloaded for a 60-14 road win over the Warrenton Warriors Friday night, driven by a dominating run game that collected 426 yards.

Up 7-6 at the end of the first quarter after a 13-yard touchdown run from Anthony Shivers, the Bulldogs erupted for 27 second-quarter points. Michael White would deliver three first-half rushing TDs and Ty Sims would break a 37-yard touchdown run of his own, putting the Bulldogs on top 34-14 at the half.

And they picked up where they left off adding 26 points in the third quarter for the decisive win.

Michael White led the Bulldog running game with 125 yards, followed by Ty Sims with 105 and two touchdowns; Anthony Shivers had 72 yards and two touchdowns and Andrew Runge, 57 yards and a touchdown. Sims had 45 yards passing, which came on a completion to Connor Johnson.

White capped off the Bulldog scoring on an interception returned for a touchdown, finishing with four TDs on the night.

Not to be lost in the mix is the Bulldog defense that held Warrenton scoreless in the second half and to 131 total yards of offense.

The Bulldogs are 7-2 overall. With the No. 1 seed in the Class 3, District 5 bracket, the Bulldogs earned a first-round bye. They’ll play the winner of this week’s Eldon-Southern Boone game on Friday, Nov. 5.
