Carol Sue Harrison
Carol Sue Harrison, 82, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at Boone Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Jones officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Carol was born to Margaret and Mervin Jolley on May 9, 1940, in Louisiana, Mo. In June of 1958, Carol married William H. Jennings. Five children were born in this marriage, Doug, Jeff, Mark, Cheryl and Deanna.
In 1976, Carol married G.G. Garnett. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Carol married Martellus Harrison on Feb. 14, 1996. He preceded her in death Oct. 1, 2020.
Carol enjoyed going to the casinos. She loved making quilts as gifts and joking with everyone she could.
She is survived by four children, Doug (Jessie) Jennings of Mexico, Jeff (Pam) Jennings of Vandalia, Cheryl (Travis) Lybarger of Laddonia and Mark (Erin) Jennings of Hannibal; 11 grandchildren, LaTosha (Billy Joe) Johnson, Demetree (Shelby) Jennings, Amber (Jeff) Samuelson, Ryan (Kara) Jennings, Trena (Willie) Cockrell, Abby Jones, Gabby Jones, Megan (Andrew) Bertels, Zachary Jennings, Jakob Saey and Jace Jennings; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Gary (Sharon) Jolley of Ozark; and sister, Ann (Richard) Cook of Vandalia.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Marty; infant daughter, Deanna; and two brothers, David Golian and Larry Jolley.
