Steve Haag has filed for Mexico City Council.
Haag is seeking a second term and is the first candidate to file for a seat on Dec. 6.
Councilman Steve Haag and Dr. Ayanna Shivers seats are the two open seats available.
Councilwoman Shivers has told the Mexico Ledger previously that she would not seek another term.
Filing for the Mexico City Council ends on Dec. 27 at 5p.m.
The Municipal General Election date will then be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
