Karen Rae Crane, 65, of Mexico, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at her home.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Fairytale Events, 121 S. Washington Street in Mexico.

Karen was born on April 15, 1957 in Mexico, the daughter of Ray and Iola (Gooch) Love. On Jan. 15, 1999, in Mexico, she married Curtis Crane.

Family was very important to Karen, especially time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed listening to music and the companionship of her dogs.

Survivors include her father, Ray Love of Mexico; husband, Curt Crane of the home; three children, Melissa (David) Sampo of Mexico, Chandy Myers of Mexico and Chance Goslin of Mexico; two stepchildren, Staci Crane of Springfield, Ill., and Joseph (Heather) Crane of Quincy, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Austyn Sampo of Mexico, Aaryn Sampo of Mexico, Ayden Pendegraft of Mexico, Kendyn Minor of Ashland, and Isaac, Dominic, Marriah and Jonah Crane, all of Quincy, Ill.; four brothers, Marion Trotter of Texas, Calvin (Kelley) Love of Mexico, Eddie (Ali) Love of Paris and Chris Love of St. Louis; and many aunts and cousins.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Iola Love; two brothers, Vance and Randy Love; and one sister, Tammy Love.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Both may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
