LeAnna Lou Tedrick, 86, of Warrenton, formerly of Wellsville and Mexico, passed away at 9:47 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Oak Pointe of Warrenton.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Church of the Resurrection in Wellsville with Fr. Philip Kane officiating. Myers Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. 

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Burial of her cremains will be at a later date in Mount Ayr Cemetery in Altamont.

LeAnna taught third grade at New Florence Elementary school for over 40 years. For fun she enjoyed gardening and traveling. She has visited 49 of the 50 states and many corners of the globe. She had a deep connection to nature and was happiest when she was enjoying the great outdoors.

LeAnna was born on Oct. 29, 1934, in Ridgeway. She was the daughter of Gilbert and Hazel (Prather) Claycomb. On Feb. 7, 1959, in Kansas City, she married Anthony “Tony” Tedrick. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2014.

Survivors include one daughter, Tami Barrieau and husband Ed, of Foristell; one sister, RoDonna Collier and husband Bill, of Gallatin; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Jonathan Barrieau, both of O’Fallon.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Claycomb.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
