Linda Sue Hoyt, 53, of Mexico, passed away Tuesday Sept. 28, 2021 in Vandalia.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Linda was born on June 10, 1968 in Mexico, the daughter of Glenroy John and Anita Rose Williams Hoyt.

Survivors include her mother, Anita Rose Williams Hoyt; one brother, Randal Lee Hoyt of Vandalia; two sisters, Debra Ann (Daryl) Hopke, of Vandalia, and Melanie Kay Coleman and Todd Gafney of Kansas City; one nephew, James (Maria); four nieces, Megan (Jess), Erica (Tyler), Allison (Tyson), and Aubrey; and six great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenroy John Hoyt.

Linda lived at home with her parents until 2003 when she moved to Hazel Place in Mexico.

She enjoyed listening to her music boxes, being read to, and watching television. She had a love for angels and stuffed animals, especially Beanie Babies.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hoyt, James Hoyt, Daryl Hopke,Todd Gafney, Ramon Barnes, and Kevin Hoyt.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Therapy and Early Education School or to the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA Vandalia in care of Bienhoff Funeral Home, PO Box 54, Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
