Mattie Belle (Crow) Robnett, 91, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Private family services will be in Laddonia Cemetery.

Mattie was born on June 27, 1929, in Stoutsville, the daughter of Sylvester Bryan and Hazel (Dexter) Crow. She was the third child in a family of seven. She then married Kenneth Robnett Sr. on Mar. 21, 1947, in Hannibal. He died on Feb. 9, 1996.

She and Kenneth Sr. began their married life in Paris and moved to a farm near Laddonia in 1949. After the death of Kenneth Sr., Belle built a home in Mexico. She resided there until she entered Pin Oaks Living Center in Aug. 2019.

They had four children: Kenneth (Kay), Jr. of Laddonia; William (Jean) of Mexico; Richard (Debbie) of Mexico; and Connie (Chuck) Bridgford of Mexico. They all survive.

Belle was a very loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an excellent cook and all the kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids loved having meals at her house. She would do anything for her family. She was a member of the Laddonia Presbyterian Church and Laddonia Elementary School PTA; as well as a member of the Laddonia Cemetery Association. After she moved to Mexico, she enjoyed ironing for people and bus trips to Branson with her daughter, sister and friends.

She is survived by 10 grandchildren: Jon (Dana) and Jay (Katie) Robnett of Laddonia; Ryan (Kerrie) and Matthew (Nicki) Robnett of Mexico; DeAnna (Bob) Curtis of Mexico; Chris (Jamie) Robnett of Quincy, Ill; Melissa (Tom) Bruckerhoff of Gerald; Leighanne (Zach) Lamb of Columbia; Andy (Shelley) Bridgford of Lathrop; and Ashley Bridgford of Kansas City.

Also surviving are 24 great-grandchildren: Avery, Spencer, and Emmett Bridgford; Isabelle, James, and Haley Bruckerhoff; Jocelyn, Bronson, and Bristol Curtis; Grayson and Jensen Lamb; Mia, Audrey, and Curtis Robnett; Mackenzie and Adelynn Robnett; Henry Robnett; Cody, Jacob, Weston, and Hayes Robnett; Lauryn, Tucker, and Kate Robnett.

She is also survived by two sisters: Wanda Batsell and Jean Crow, both of Paris.

Belle was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ralph Crow; and three sisters, Ruth Conley, Dee Wilt, and Mae Wilt.
