Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Wednesday, Feb. 23:
Trespassing on West Liberty.
Identity theft at the South Clark apartment building.
Property damage on Fairground Road.
Unwanted subject at Carson.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Clark at Teal Lake Road on Wednesday, Feb. 22. According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Joshua Furlong of Fulton crossed the center line and came back into his lane striking the back of a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Dylan Terrell of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on Boulevard at Morris on Wednesday, Feb. 22. According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Debra Edwards of Centralia was travelling north on Morris with a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Tyler Walden of Mexico. Edwards' vehicle came to a stop in the middle of the intersection of Boulevard. Walden was watching for oncoming traffic and did not notice Edwards' vehicle was stopped, when a collision happened. No injuries reported.
A one-car accident at 409 Fairground Road on Tuesday, Feb. 21. According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Travis Joles of Mexico drove into a fiber-pedestal owned by Phynx Fiber, when turning into the parking lot of 409 Fairground. The vehicle left the scene of the accident. No injuries were reported.
