Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety Department reports the arrest of 41-year-old Michael C. Nelson on Thursday, March 9, for third degree assault.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Wednesday, March 8:
Driving without a valid license at 1719 South Clark.
Sexual assault on South Alabama.
Domestic physical incident at South Clark.

Car accidents:

A two-car accident on Morris at Monroe on Wednwesday, March 8. According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Lesley Adams of Mexico was sitting at the intersection of Morris and Monroe getting ready to pull onto Monroe. A vehicle driven by 33-year-old Sheryl Palmer of Mexico was sitting directly behind Palmer and thought Adams vehicle had pulled away. Palmer looked away and proceeded to pull forward and collided with the back of Adams vehicle. No injuries were reported.
