Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Thursday, March 2:
Property damage at 815 East Liberty.
An unwanted subject on South Trinity.
Neighbor dispute at West Monroe.
Suspicious person on West Liberty.
Suspicious vehicle at South Morris Street.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Hendricks at Wade on Thursday, March 2. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl from Mexico was backing out of a parking spot and did not see that was travelling down the road. The vehicle traveling down the road was driven by 28-year-old Alexander Hall of Mexico and was unable to stop in time when a collision happened. No injuries were reported.
A two car-accident on Highway 54 at East Liberty on Thursday, March 2. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 73-year-old Stanley Actor of Hannibal came to a stop and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Joseph Patterson of Columbia. No injuries were reported.
