Jennifer S. Vukadin, 36, of Mexico, was taken to Audrain Community Hospital by ambulance after a one-vehicle accident, Monday, Oct.25.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when Vukadin was traveling eastbound on Route HH, east of Audrain Road 937, and swerved to avoid hitting a deer in the roadway causing her 2014 Chevrolet Equinox to travel off the roadway, striking the ground with its undercarriage and hitting a stump.
Vukadin sustained moderate injuries; she was wearing a seatbelt.
The Equinox was totaled and towed from the scene. Time of the accident was 8:19 p.m.
