The Mexico girls tennis team wrapped up its regular season in a dominant way Tuesday by sweeping Battle at home. The Lady Bulldogs then finished third in the North Central Missouri Conference Tournament on Thursday in Marshall while placing four on the all-conference team. Senior Messiah Simpson, and sophomores Claire Hudson, Lucy Gleeson and Jyllian Whitworth earned spots on the team. Mexico will try to continue its success Saturday at North Point High School in Wentzville for the individual district tournament, with the team competition starting Monday in the same place.
