Rebecca “Becky” Chapman Hagan provided The King’s Daughters Home a $30,000 donation in her mother’s memory Ruth Hill Chapman, who at one time was a resident of The King’s Daughters Home.
Hagan was born in Mexico on Jan. 5, 1945 to Bob and Ruth Chapman. She graduated with honors from Mexico High School in 1963. She married John C. Hagan III, MD July 15, 1967.
Hagan went to University of Missouri, graduating with honors and a degree in physical therapy. She worked as a physical therapist to help finance John’s medical education. This led to her living in Chicago, Milwaukee, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, Atlanta and finally Kansas City where she has lived since 1975.
Hagan said she is pleased and honored that her circumstances allow her to give back to her home town of Mexico, specifically to The King’s Daughters Home, where both her aunt and mother lived, according to a release issued by The King’s Daughters Home.
