Mexico baseball was victorious over North Central Missouri Conference foe Marshall on Thursday night at home. The Bulldogs haven't been able to say that since 2017 as the victory snapped a nine-game losing streak to the reigning Class 4 fourth-place Owls.
Seven Bulldogs drove in runs, including Austin Maxwell. On the mound, Maxwell held Marshall hitless through four innings while striking out five.
Mexico junior varsity won 9-0 in five innings. Tyson Carr held the Owls to two walks and one hit through five innings while striking out eight. Jaydon Eldridge had a two-RBI double, and Kaden Benne drove in two runs.
