Cecil Larry Nichols, 81, died Thursday, October 19, 2023, at his home.
Survivors include his wife Linda of 63 years; two children, Debra “Debby” Lynn Nichols of Lexington, Ky. and Donald “Don” Larry Nichols (Michele) of Columbia; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lee Nichols and a brother, Donnie Lee Nichols of Mexico.
A memorial service was held Fri., Oct. 27 in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, Sumter, S.C. with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Burial with Elk’s Rites and full military honors followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
