Centralia rises to occasion to defeat North Callaway in four sets on Monday

North Callaway hasn't been able to take a set from Centralia in a while but was able to do so on Monday night in Centralia. The Lady Panthers still won in four sets (25-20, 21-25, 25-18 and 25-19) as they were led by the attacking of Madilynn Hunter and Morgan Ross, who finished with respective kill totals of 15 and 14. The Ladybirds typically have played Centralia in a tournament and hadn't taken a set from the Lady Panthers since 2019 but were matching up ina five-set regular season match for the first time this season. Riley Blevins led the team with 16 digs, Rylee Horstman added seven digs and a team-high nine kills, and Alex Craighead led with three blocks and had 15 touches at the net.
