Centralia is headed to the championship game and North Callaway stays alive in the tournament. Those were the results on Wednesday at the girls Centralia Invitational as Centralia defeated Salisbury 59-45 and North Callaway eliminated Van-Far with a 47-36 victory.

Last year's champion Centralia has a chance to defend its title while getting some revenge against Moberly, who beat the Lady Panthers on their home court for a district title last season. But first, Centralia kept Salisbury at arm's length with a margin of at least seven points throughout the game. Morgan Ross led with 18 points and 6-for-8 free-throw shooting in the fourth quarter, Braylin Brunkhorst finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks, Raegan Anderson had 11 points and three 3-pointers, and Shelby Lewis pulled down 13 rebounds.

Van-Far was as close as one point in the third quarter but never could gain the lead against North Callaway despite the Lady Indians hitting seven 3-pointers. North Callaway finished 13-for-14 on free throws in the second half, including 9-or-10 from Riley Blevins. Blevins led the Ladybirds with 18 points and six rebounds, and Lakyn Hartley followed with 12 points. Kenya Jones led Van-Far with 13 points and three 3-pointers, Elliott Utterback followed with 10 points and four steals, and Mylee Keller had seven points and two 3-pointers.
