Delbert D. Wheeler, 89, St. Charles, passed away Wed., March 27, 2024, at his home.He was born June 23, 1934, in Boone County, the son of the late Buford and Grace (Brincefield) Wheeler. On Sept. 9, 1960, he was united in marriage to Stella (Gilpin) Wheeler who preceded him in death on January 14, 2012.
He is survived by one son David (Janice) Wheeler of Columbia; three daughters Katherine Lucas of Columbia, Rebecca (Jerry) Lamprecht of St. Charles, and Grace Wheeler of Columbia; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, one son Delbert Wayne Wheeler and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sat., April 6, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery.
