Dexter G. Anderson, 67, Seattle, Wash., formerly of Montgomery City, Missouri died Sept. 6, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jessie and Goldie Mae Anderson, Ethel Otey, and Harry Johnson. Parents Edward and Romania Anderson Sr. and siblings Edward E. Anderson, Allen M. Mask Sr and Charmaine Okereke.
He is survived by five sisters Linda Diane Littles Las Vegas, Nev., Beverly White O'Fallon, Markeeta Porter O'Fallon, Romania Anderson St Louis, and Delores McRoberts St Louis; three brothers, Robert Anderson Las Vegas, Nev., Edward Anderson Jr. Raeford, North Carolina, and Corey Anderson Alton, Ill.; an aunt, two uncles, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, Sept. 29, with visitation at 9 a.m., services at 10 a.m., and interment at 12:30 p.m.
Services will be officiated by Ronald L. Jones Funeral Chapels of St. Louis with interment at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with full military honors.
