Donald Clare “Butch” Davenport, 77 of Centralia passed away, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at his home.
There will be a private celebration of Butch’s life held at a later date.
Butch was born on March 21, 1947, in Mexico, the son of Clare Beaver and Charlotte Marie (Rosenthal) Davenport.
On December 31, 1970, in Mexico, Butch married Linda Jones and she survived.
Along with his wife, Linda, Butch is survived by a son, Matthew Davenport of Centralia, and two nieces, Judy Mantle and Jenny Mantle.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Russell Davenport, and Karolyn Marie Carver.
Butch worked for 50 years as a machinist and tool and die maker, at A.B. Chance, until his retirement.
He truly loved his work and enjoyed doing handyman projects around the house.
