With great sadness Elizabeth, known as Missy, the beloved daughter, sister, aunt by family and friends has passed away. She was the third daughter of Robert and Frances (Sonwalt) Schooler and lived most of her life in Columbia, where she attended Russell Blvd. Elementary School, West Junior High, Rockbridge High School and graduated from Stephens College. She attended FITNY, The Fashion Institute of Technology at New York State University, and had a great love for animals, especially her childhood horse and her family. She had a brave battle with illnesses. She will be remembered for her wit and was a woman of strong faith.
Survivors include Frances Schooler (home); Suzanne (Jim) DuMolin, Belvedere, Calif.; Sally Schooler Wells (George Rickerson); Jackson Wells of Columbia; Matthew (Trinh) Wells and Tyler (Joyce) Wells of Jefferson City. Aunts Ruby Hale (Martinsburg), Shirley Schooler (Charlotte, N.C.) and Barbara Hart (League City, Texas).
There was a private service at East Lawn Memorial Park and expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
