The final score didn't indicate how competitive Wednesday's Missouri Military Academy home game was. MMA lost 16-6 in eight innings to Vienna but allowed 10 runs in the eighth inning after scoring three in the seventh, with Charles George coming through with the game-tying single, to force extra innings.
The Colonels used six pitchers that combined for nine walks, with all them happening in the fifth inning or later, and their defense committed four errors. Avin Hernandez, Luke Wolf and Noah Garcia each had three hits.
