Gerald Brent “Jerry” Mayes, 83, Centralia, passed away on Sat., Oct. 7, 2023, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico. He was born November 24, 1939, in Centralia MO to the late F. Brent Mayes and Edith (Leach) Mayes.
He is survived by his wife J. Areta Mayes; son Jeff Mayes, Kansas City; daughter Julee Baugh, Somerville Tenn.; and sister Cheryl Tuggle, Centralia.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thurs, Oct. 12, at the Centralia City Cemetery with Jed Angell officiating.
