A year after the Van-Far boys lost in the Bowling Green championship game, they are back in it Saturday.
Van-Far plays Eastern Missouri Conference and district foe Clopton (14-4) at 4 p.m. Saturday in the title game a season after losing to host Bowling Green.
The Indians defeated the host Bobcats this time on Thursday 66-40 after being led by Pacey Reading’s 27 points. Gage Gibson followed with 10 points.
On Tuesday, Van-Far (13-3) defeated Silex 69-38 in the first round and was led by Pacey Reading’s 19 points. Nikos Connaway followed with 12 points, and Carter Jennings added 11 points.
