Lady Bulldogs lose 4-2 to Wright City after big 2nd half

The rain just kept falling on Monday, and the goals kept coming for Wright City.

The Mexico girls lost to their district foe 4-2 after allowing four second-half goals to Paige Kirn. The Lady Bulldogs (2-4) took a 2-0 halftime lead after both goals were scored by Claire Hudson. 

Hudson scored at the 28th and 38th minutes, but Wright City (1-1) needed 10 minutes in the second half to tie the game. Mexico was outshot 11-3 in the second half.

Mexico plays its North Central Missouri Conference opener around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kirksville (3-2).
