Lady Panthers hyped up for first ever Final Four, hold pep rally on Thursday

Centralia senior Morgan Ross takes her turn cutting down the nets in Centralia after its pep rally on Thursday to hype up the community prior to the Lady Panthers' Class 3 semifinal against El Dorado Springs at 4 p.m. Friday.

The Centralia Lady Panthers are going to the state Final Four for the first time ever and shared that excitement with the community on Thursday afternoon.

Prior to facing No. 1 El Dorado Springs (27-3) at 4 p.m. Friday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Centralia (25-4) hosted a pep rally open to the public.

Players, coaches and teachers competed in different contests in a packed afternoon that also included speeches delivered by head coach Megan Brinkmann, principal Matt Smith and former Lady Panthers coach Mike Hann.
