North Callaway softball fell just short 9-8 on Thursday night at Montgomery County in what was its first Eastern Missouri Conference loss of the season. The Ladybirds had the four unearned runs allowed in the fifth inning looming over them during the game as the Lady Wildcats connected on back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning for just enough cushion. Kymorie Myers finished 3-for-4 with two RBI, a triple and a double, Corynne Miller 1-2 with two RBI and two walks, and Faith Cash had two RBI.
