A Perry man who was suspected of running from Audrain County Sheriff Sergeant during a car stop on Saturday, March 25, 2023 has been found.
According to the Audrain County Sheriff's Office they received information from citizens at large and the Perry Police Department that the White Ford F-150 in question was owned and operated by Robert L. Utterback.
The morning of Tuesday, March 28, 2023, the truck and Utterback were found in Perry by members of the Audrain County Sheriff's Office and the Perry Police Chief Joe Goodwin.
Utterback was jailed for Failure to affix plates to a motor vehicle, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, littering, careless and imprudent driving, resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing, trafficking drugs, and tampering with evidence. Charges are pending, along with a bond or release decision.
