Mexico had to go 13 innings and about three and a half hours at home on Tuesday against North Central Missouri Conference and district foe Kirksville. The Bulldogs fell short 8-7 after Jalen Kent drove in Drew Chrisman for the winning run.

Mexico led 6-1 after four innings but ran into scoring difficulties later, especially against Drew Chrisman. Chrisman allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out seven in seven innings of relief.

Andrew Runge, Landyn Kleinsorge and Ty Sims, who had a game-tying hit in the seventh inning, each drove in runs for Mexico.
