Margaret Ann Dunn Woods, 80, of Auxvasse, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 6, at Grace Lutheran Church in Wellsville with Pastor Luke Wolters officiating. Burial will follow in Auxvasse Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3-5 p.m. on Sun., Nov. 5, at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico.
Margaret was born on August 22, 1943, in Mexico, the daughter of Merle L. and Wynema H. (Wilburn) Dunn. In June 1967, she was united in marriage to Walter Donald “Don” Woods. He passed away on March 26, 2015.
Margaret helped Don on their Auxvasse farm and kept the books for Woods & Dunn Farms for more than 40 years. Margaret and Don also owned Prairie Lakes Enterprises, Inc. until retirement in 2007.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially seeing her grandchildren and playing cards with the lady group.
Margaret was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Wellsville.
She is survived by three sons, Jeff Woods of Huntsville, Ala., Jason (Jana) Woods of Auxvasse, and Jamie (Destini) Woods of Auxvasse; grandchildren, Morgan (Steven) Monroy, Logan Woods, Erica Woods, Davis Woods, Haven Woods and Elowen Woods; sister, Mary Moore of Auxvasse; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents; and a brother, Bill Dunn.
Memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church in Wellsville.
