Marlyn Richards, 83, Anabell, formerly of Sturgeon, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo. She was born June 10, 1940, in Mexico, the daughter of the late Hobert and Mary (Lewis) George. On July 25, 1958, she was united in marriage to James A. “Bud” Richards.
Mrs. Richards is survived by her husband Bud of 65 years; four sons Terry (Jean) Richards of Smithville, Texas, Randy (Carol) Richards of Centralia, James Scott (Delia) Richards of Kansas City, Kan. and Mark (Cassie) Richards of Gallatin; four daughters Robin (Tim) King of Elgin, Texas, Penny Vanlandingham of Clark, Lisa (John) Paige of Sturgeon, and Michelle (Thomas) Richards of Columbia,; two sisters Phyllis George-Smith of Hannibal, and Karen Abbott of Sedalia; 18 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be 3 p.m. Sat., Jan. 6, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sat. at the Funeral Home.
