Martha Rose is a popular store located in downtown Mexico on the square and will soon be moving to online only.
Owner Tarah Toellner, recently shared the news with the Mexico Ledger.
"We started looking at numbers last year and waited through the holidays and found the website was holding its own. The website ships to over 40 states online. The move will allow us to save overhead with building costs and labor. And it will provide Grant and I flexibility with our schedules."
Grant is Tarah's husband and the couple have a family of four children. They are ten- year-old Eli, eight-year-old Ollie, seven-year-old Everett, and six-month-old Lyle. The storefront will be open until May 31st and they will honor any gift cards until then.
Tarah says inventory will go to a warehouse on Market Street in Mexico and she will work out of the house.
"Easter baskets, birthday, retirement gifts can be delivered same day. We already do bi-weekly deliveries to Laddonia, Martinsburg, Centralia, and Perry." Anyone interested can order gifts online at www.martharosegifts.com.
Starting in May everything will be going online.
