The Mexico boys were out of position at times on Tuesday night during their 4-0 home loss to North Central Missouri Conference foe Kirksville, head coach Bill Gleeson said. The loss was the third straight time the Bulldogs have been shut out by the Tigers (2-2, 2-2 NCMC) and makes them 0-4 against conference opponents so far this season.

Mexico (3-4) turns its attention to Friday and Saturday for the Moberly Invitational, where it will play three games to see where it stacks up in its own division. Among the three divisions, the Bulldogs will be the in the red division and face Boonville at 6 p.m. Friday on Moberly's turf field, Smith-Cotton B at 2 p.m. at Central Christian College of the Bible and Moberly B at 4 p.m. on Moberly's grass field.
