The Mexico boys’ victory on Friday went beyond a dual win over their North Central Missouri Conference rival.
The Bulldogs defeated Fulton 6-3 at home to secure their first win over a district opponent. Mexico won four singles matches and two doubles matches.
Brendan McKeown won singles 8-1 and doubles with Boston Davolt 10-8, Davolt won singles 8-4, Brixton Goerne won singles 8-3 and doubles with Carter Blackburn 10-8, and Blackburn won singles 8-3.
